A List of Dallas Restaurants Running Takeout and Delivery Specials

Updated April 3 at 4:18 p.m. I’ll be updating daily, so check back again. If I haven’t gotten to your request, please be patient. Thank you! Also, by the sheer amount of responses I’ve received thus far, I think it’s clear that most restaurants are pivoting to pickup/takeout. If there’s a restaurant you love, give them a call or shoot them an email; I imagine they’d like to serve you food somehow.

We know you’ve stocked up on rice and beans and Pop Tarts all in the name of social distancing. But let’s be honest, there will come a time when only a restaurant will satisfy. Lucky for you, many Dallas restaurants are here to help. Some have long offered takeout, others have recently gotten on board considering whatever this “new normal” is. And as of March 16, Dallas Mayor Eric Johnson has banned groups of 50 people or more, and has mandated bars and restaurants close dining rooms (drive-through, delivery, and takeout is still allowed).

We’ll try to keep this as up-to-date as possible as we get word of more specials. Will this be completely comprehensive? Much like coronavirus news, we’re tracking things day by day and doing the best we can. Keep checking back to this story for updates as we have them. Did we miss any? Email me here.

If you can’t go out and pick your orders, many restaurants rely on third party delivery services to get their meals to you. UberEats has waived delivery fees to make it easier to order from local restaurants. And Postmates has a new option for its drivers to leave your order at your door, should you so desire, so you need not interact with them at all—in the name of safety!
